Why should I host my site with RankPay?
Many web hosts only want to provide bare-bones service. We want to provide a performance-focused web hosting solution. Our SEO expertise keeps us aligned on providing SSL/HTTPS hosting that’s both fast and reliable.
Are there any contracts?
Nope! While we hope you’ll stay with us for a long time, there are no contracts or minimum lengths of service. You can cancel your website maintenance plan at any time.
My site isn't on WordPress. Is that OK?
No worries! You don’t need to use WordPress for us to provide website maintenance. We do highly recommend it though, as WordPress features user-friendly content management and advanced security features. If you’re thinking about migrating to WordPress, ask us for a custom quote. We can help!
What if I need more hours of webmaster services?
Each plan comes with an allotted amount of time for site changes, updates, etc. If you need additional hours of webmaster services in any given month, we’ll be happy to provide them at your request. We bill these additional hours of service at a rate of $60/hour.
What reporting will you provide?
All website maintenance plans include the setup and optimization of Google Search Console and Google Analytics. While we don’t provide interpretations of the data gathered by these tools, we do provide WordPress customers with weekly technical reports on the status of their websites. This includes some data captured by Google Analytics.
Is there an annual subscription discount?
Absolutely. Please email us at support@rankpay.com and we’ll be happy to discuss available incentives to choose an annual payment option and subscription.
What if I don't need hosting?
We have plenty of customers that purchase our website maintenance service but forego having us host their website. We’re happy to provide all of the features of our website management plans, or just select features as they’re needed.
Do you support Magento, Shopify, etc?
Yes! We work with dozens of e-commerce and CMS platforms, including Shopify, Magento, 3dcart and WooCommerce.
Do you provide a backup solution?
Yes! We create daily offsite backups using Amazon’s S3 storage platform for our WordPress customers. Daily on-site backups are implemented for our non-WordPress customers.
Do you scan for malware daily?
Yes! We provide daily malware scanning so you don’t have to worry about monitoring the safety or security of your website.
What is your up-time guarantee?
We provide a 99.90% up-time guarantee. We’ll monitor your site 24/7 and we’ll host your site on US-based servers.
Will I have access to the backend of my website?
Of course! You’ll have access to FTP, cPanel, and the admin panel for whatever CMS your website is built upon.
Will I have direct contact with your developers?
Yes. All of our plans entitle you to accessing our development team to troubleshoot and allocate monthly budget of minutes/hours of website changes and updates.
What are considered site changes?
Site changes can include the creation of new pages, optimization of existing pages, updates, fixes, etc.
