What system do you use to calculate Yahoo rankings?

We are getting rankings directly from the Yahoo API. It seems that in some rare cases the API returns inaccurate results. However, we have a practice of manually rechecking the rankings before charging the credit card. We are currently in the process of developing a system that will look for sudden jumps in ranking logs.
